Family owned and operated business, Ron Finemore Transport, recently inspected Primary Connect’s Moorebank National Distribution Centre which is still under construction.
For the past 50 years, Ron Finemore and his team have partnered with Woolworths and Primary Connect.
“A lot has changed in that time including road safety, vehicle and driver safety, automation, technology, vehicle combinations and trailer capacity,” Primary Connect said in a statement.
“Visiting the site was an opportunity to assist the Ron Finemore Transport team understand what specifications for new heavy vehicle equipment would be required when the site opens.
“Ron and his team were also able to get a good understanding of the transport flows and compatibility for future high productivity equipment to support Primary Connect.”
Moorebank NDC works are expected to be completed in late 2024.
Earlier this year, Ron Finemore Transport delivered five 30m B-double high cube combinations to Primary Connect to create innovative transport solutions for its customers.
